We have developed the Opti Set 130 for lovers of interesting solutions. Viewed from the front, the tank has the shape of a square, but additional centimetres are hidden behind the top frame. The aquarium is higher than the standard Opti Set.
The aquarium therefore has a volume of 130 litres with a base area of 61×41! That’s more space for generous underwater compositions.
Clear glass in your Opti Set 130
We have made the front and sides of the tank from high-quality Opti-Glass. This is glass that has undergone a special devitrification process that causes it to lose its greenish colour. In return, you get an unrivalled transparency that blurs the boundaries between you and the underwater world. You can admire the perfect colour rendition and the exceptional exposure of the arrangement.
The walls of the aquarium have been bonded with transparent silicone that is compatible with fish and plants. The edges have been carefully sanded and polished, which not only has aesthetic qualities but also affects the safety of the set.
Glass panes of 8 mm (front and back) and 6 mm (sides) guarantee the strength and stability of the container, in accordance with technical safety standards.
Functionality and elegant design
The Opti-Set combines high-quality workmanship with modern functions for simple and safe aquarium maintenance. The robust frame not only has a decorative function, but also provides additional reinforcement for the bottom of the tank.
The frame also fits perfectly with the elegant lid, which is equippedwith the patented Smart Open System. This system makes it easy to open the lid and keep it in the desired position. We have built a lockable window into the lid through which you can easily feed the fish. The technical holes in the back wall of the aquarium are intended for the external filter tubes. This is also where you feed the cables for the aquarium’s electrical supply through. No more unsightly hanging cables!
Lighting in the lid
Directly under the lid, inside the tank, there are two rails that house the AquaelLeddy Tube Sunny Day & Night 2.0LEDlighting. The fluorescent tubes have an output of 10 W, which is perfect for the size of this tank.
The lighting set offers 3 light modes that allow you to adjust the lighting to the needs of the fish and plants in the aquarium:
Customised lighting
If your set-up requires it, you can replace the fluorescent tubes with others from the wide Leddy Tube range. For example, use Plant if you have a planted aquarium or Marine Day&Night if you dream of a marine aquarium in this set-up.
But that’s not the end of the possible modifications. The rails allow you to conveniently change the position of the lighting modules so that you can evenly illuminate the entire aquarium or just a selected part of it.
Aquael tip
If your arrangement requires it, the Opti Set 130 can be supplemented with additional lighting. Up to 6 modules fit under the cover. This is particularly useful for plant-based aquascaping arrangements, even with a high proportion of grass plants.

Furniture for the aquarist
Please note: The Opti Set base cabinet is available separately and is not part of the Opti Set.
The Opti Set professional aquarium cabinet is the ideal addition to the set. You can store an external filter and other aquarium accessories inside it. The feet of the base cabinet are adjustable, allowing precise levelling of the tank on uneven surfaces. This cabinet provides stable support for the aquarium and minimises the risk of it slipping or tipping over.
We have manufactured the Opti Set cabinet from high-quality, damage- and moisture-resistant materials. This gives you the assurance that the furniture will serve you for many years. These cabinets can also be purchased in white, black or grey.
