Construction of the Versamax Mini filter
Hang-on external filters are built with a suction pump tank or buzzer. The water drawn in from the aquarium passes through the filter media and then is poured back into the aquarium through an outlet tube.
The Versamax Mini consists of a filter cover, an overflow unit and a filter media container with a sponge cartridge. It is leak-proof and completely safe. Installation does not pose too many problems – just hang it on the aquarium wall and start it up. It purifies and aerates the water, and its high efficiency ensures intensive filtration.
Perfect adjustment and fit
How to start the Versamax Mini filter? We place it on the outer wall of the aquarium, and insert the intake tube into the aquarium water. We fill the filter container with water and connect the device to electricity. The pump draws water from the lower parts of the aquarium, filters it and then pours it back into the aquarium.
The output can be adjusted with a knob located on top of the overflow unit. The wide range of adjustment allows you to optimally adjust the water flow to the requirements of your tank.
The angle of the filter can be fine-tuned using a knob located at the bottom of the filter media chamber. Just turn it appropriately and the filter will be perfectly adjusted.
Effectively purified water
Versamax Mini filter guarantees efficient mechanical and biological filtration. Thanks to the practical filter baskets, the replacement of cartridges is very simple and does not cause any problems. The cartridges in the filter can be freely exchanged and combined.
As standard, the Versamax Mini filter includes a sponge cartridge, made of a special phenol-free sponge. It provides an excellent place for the development of beneficial bacterial cultures that remove organic pollutants from the aquarium.
Aquarium hang-on filter, despite its power and efficiency, works extremely quietly. So you can also put the tank in places where there should be no noise, such as a bedroom or children’s room.
Convenient and ready-made cartridges
The standard set of cartridges for the Versamax Mini filter includes a sponge cartridge made of special phenol-free sponge. It constitutes a particularly favourable substrate for the growth of bacterial cultures employed to remove organic impurities from the water. In this way, effective mechanical filtration is supplemented with excellent biological filtration.
Filter cartridges can be freely combined or replaced with other filter media for biological or chemical filtration. For example, you can combine cartridges for biological filtration with a sponge for mechanical filtration. Make sure that individual media are arranged in equal layers in both parts of the filter baskets.
It should be supplemented with FZN MINI STANDARD MEDIA PACK cartridges. The pack contains 3 cartridges, for successive replacement.
