The FAN internal filter has been held in high regard for many years. Thanks to its durability and effectiveness, it has won the trust of many enthusiast aquarists. In addition, the widespread availability of components such as suction cups, rotors or sponges, makes it extremely easy to keep the filter in excellent condition.
High efficacy
Fan filter has been equipped with solutions that ensure its efficiency and convenience. The design of the filter chamber prevents the unit’s water from pouring into the aquarium when removing the filter for cleaning and when changing the water in the tank. The plastic, locally perforated housing effectively traps larger contaminants as an initial filtration stage. The sponge placed inside the filter is responsible for the thorough water purification.
Easy installation
The FAN filter is distinguished by its ease of installation and operation. Thanks to the adjustable hanger, the filter can be adapted to various aquarium glass thickness. Also a hose with an aeration valve can be attached to the hanger. The holder is equipped with four strong suction cups to securely fix the filter to the glass surface.
High efficiency
The specially designed rotor chamber ensures not only unobtrusive operation, but also high device efficiency with minimal power consumption. It is worth noting that the FAN filter models consume between 4 and 12 watts. With this range of energy consumption, the monthly operating cost remains relatively low, which contributes to the economic management of the aquarium (see table at bottom of page).
Innovative solution
The option to adjust the output of the filter without having to dip your hands in the water is a unique and practical feature rarely found in similar devices. It is possible due to a dome with an ergonomic knob located on top of the filter, which can be placed above the water surface. This innovative solution allows the user to conveniently control the performance of the filter without direct contact with the aquarium water.
2 in 1: Filtration and aeration
Adjustment of the water outlet direction is possible within a range of 75° and can be controlled to the right and left. The FAN also has an aeration function. These feature make this small filter a versatile aquarium tool that can be easily adapted to individual needs.
Operating in very shallow water
The FAN MIKRO model can operate in very shallow water – as low as 2 cm deep – making it ideal for even the smallest aquaterraria.
Choose from 5 FAN filter models to suit different needs and aquarium sizes.
