Symphysodon, colloquially known as discus, is a magnificent variety of cichlids native to South America. These fish are quite picky with food.

Previously it was recommended that the bulk of their daily diet should consist of live foods: plankton, larvae of aquatic insects, and even sludge worms.Today we know that living organisms may carry many diseases that are dangerous to cichlids. Their use in aquariums is associated with a significant risk of contaminating the entire population. The best solution is to use dry foods, e.g. ACTI DISCUSVIT.

ACTI DISCUSVIT is offered in small granules. As they slowly sink to the bottom, their movement resembles that of live foods, which prompts discuses to start ‘hunting.’ The product has an excellent flavour, so even the most fastidious eaters are going to like it.
