In the wild, many species of fish, e.g. guppies, swordtails, mollies, barbs, and cichlids, supplement their diet with aquatic plants and algae. When kept in a fish tank, they also need a significant proportion of their diet to be of plant origin. This is where VEGETAL and SPIRUTABS come into play.
The spirulina content of SPIRUTABS reaches 20%. The product is offered in the form of dark green tablets that can be stuck to the tank walls or put on the bottom. SPIRUTABS are eagerly consumed by the herbivorous species of armoured catfish and – as a feed supplement – by fish that are predominantly carnivorous but occasionally supplement their diet with plants. The product does not contain any artificial ingredients that could pollute water.
